The solar energy can provide a part of the heating load to the building in the winter. The popular approach is the application of passive solar energy, such as open large windows. In winter, this way can make the room get more solar radiation. However, in summer sun is still more into the room and it caused a large number of air conditioning cooling load. Setting louvres can effectively block the solar radiation heat and lower the indoor temperature. Common louvres are divided into horizontal, vertical, integrated and baffle type. In general, the horizontal louvre used in the South and the north, covering large angle of incidence of the sun; the vertical louvre is beneficial to shield the light from the small angle of incidence; integrated lourve is mainly applicable to the south, Southeast and Southwest, suitable for small incident angle of sun shading; The baffle type sun shading is suitable for the window of the East and West and the low incidence angle of the sun. The louvres materials contain concrete, steel, wood, aluminum alloy, tarpaulin etc. As the aluminum alloy material has light weight, high strength, durability, thermal storage and low thermal conductivity, the process is more mature, so it has become the popular materials.
