Week 9 Energy-saving and emission reduction measures in office




Electricity-saving 
1. Use of natural light as much as possible during the day in the Office.
2. The computers, copiers, printers and other Office equipment should be set to automatically enter low power sleep state when not in use. Moreover, closing automatic in time when not in use for a long time in order to reduce the standby consumption.
3. Adjusting computer monitor brightness to a suitable value. High display brightness will increase power consumption and is not conducive to the protection of eyesight.
4. Closing the Office computer, drinking fountains and lights all electricity facilities after working.

Water-saving:
1.  Strengthen the maintenance of water system maintenance.
2. Lower the toilet tank water level and reducing tap water pressure.
3. Establishing and improving water conservation rules and actively promoting the use of water-saving devices.
4.Water-saving sign posted in the bathroom. Testing the faucets, toilet tank and dispenser to avoid leaks and waste of resources regularly.

Travel:
1. Electronic operations to reduce unnecessary journeys, such as networking, telephony and video etc. Non-emergency work suggested by bike or on foot.

2. Arranged vehicles for group corporate activities. Encouraged to carpool to reduce air pollution
